Is January official break-up month or something? Did I not get that Memo?

So many of my friends are breaking up. Or getting engaged. And the couples I wish would break up just aren't.

It's like 9 degrees Feirenhiet outside, negative 11 with the wind chill.

That's -14 with a wind chill of -24 for those of us who use Celcius.

For some reason when you live in the city and there's no snow around that seems unbearable.

So Drew and I had gotten back together at American Thanksgiving after a lot of begging from him. Well a few days after New Years he decided to call it quits again. I was/am pretty upset, but I'll survive. And so will our friendship. It makes logical sense. My coming and going is too hard on both of us. And well see what happens when I come home for good after school is done.

In the meantime we both have our freedom. If I take it anytime soon is a real question. I think I need time away to get over him.

My friends have this kinda joke going. I've been dumped twice in my life and both times have been by him. I don't think they mind because most of them thought that I was way beyond his league.

I never realised how bad breathing through my mouth apparently is.  I saw a new dental hygenist today, and she told me that my mouth breathing was causing my gums to be inflamed.  Well I've been mouth breathing for 21 years now, it's the first time I've heard anything about it.  And you expect me to change my ways now.  I'm pretty sure that even if I tryed to nose breath during the day I would still sleep with my mouth wide open.

In other news I'm almost finished reading Life According to Garp by John Irving.  So I'll probably run down to the library today and get the movie.  If he adapted the movie as well as he adapted Cider House Rules, it's going to be a great movie!

Bahhh Christmas. One of those times when I am absolutely forced to spend time with my family, no matter how miserable a mood they are all in. All my friends are busy with their own families.

Oh well
Merry Christmas

Hey,

I just thought I would introduce myself. I just recently started looking into hermit crabs as a pet for my 18 year old brother. Got some. And decided that they were better off with me :-)

So now I have two sweeties, Curly and Fluffy (The later being named by my rommates who love the hermies as well). I'm amazed at their personality. And I love my friendly little Curly. He always comes out immediately after being picked up. He's on the icon.

I'm very excited about being part of this community and being a new mom to my new pets :-).
